BEIJING, July 9 -- A senior official of the Communist Party of China (CPC) on Wednesday held talks with Russian Presidential Administration chief Sergei Ivanov.

Li Zhanshu, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and director of the General Office of the CPC Central Committee, said bilateral coordination has developed vigorously under the leadership of Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin.

He said the General Office of the CPC Central Committee is willing to work closely with the Russian Presidential Administration to implement the consensus reached by the leaders on mutual trust and all-round cooperation. The two countries signed a series of agreements during Putin's visit to China in May.

Ivanov said the Russian Presidential Administration is ready to work with the General Office of the CPC Central Committee to enhance bilateral relations.
