This photo shows the amazing tower in Shanghe village, Dexing, Jiangxi province. Built in the Mid-Ming Dynasty, the tower with only half of the body left has stood there for 500 years. The 28-meter-tall tower has seven floors and eight angles.
The top three layers on the southeast side collapsed in early times, so the tower was named “amazing half-left tower”.
The tower is listed as an important ancient cultural heritage under local protection because it’s unique in Jiangxi rare in China.
