Super sky lantern released in Hainan

Recently, a record-breaking super sky lantern was successfully released by people in Hongling Village, Qionghai city in Hainan Province. More than 60 young people spent a week and near 30,000 yuan to make the super sky lantern, which was made up of 62 small lanterns with diameter of 2 to 4 meters.

The super sky lantern with a large amount of firecrackers flew up to 50 meters in the sky and burned after it drifted with the wind for 300 meters. The whole process lasted for five minutes. About 10,000 citizens enjoyed the wonderful night together.
