TEHRAN, Oct. 23 -- Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said he saw a comprehensive nuclear agreement between Iran and six world powers within reach before a November 24 deadline, Tasnim news agency reported on Thursday.

"The remaining time (for possible agreement) is not long, 30 days are left and we predict there is a possibility for the final agreement, because we have reached a consensus on many outstanding issues," Rouhani was quoted as saying.

"Good steps" have been taken toward the long-awaited comprehensive accord, he said, adding that "We have reached agreement on the generalities, and have had discussions about details that are also important."

Also, head of Iran's expert-level nuclear negotiating team Hamid Baeedinejad said that during two days of nuclear talks that concluded in Vienna on Thursday, the representatives of Iran and the world powers held "serious, intensive and useful negotiations. "

Baeedinejad told official IRNA news agency that the participant delegations believe that the expert-level negotiations were effective and useful to find a final solution to certain issues.

In July, Iran and the P5+1 group (including five permanent members of the UN Security Council plus Germany) agreed to extend negotiations over Iran's controversial nuclear program for another four months till Nov. 24 as they could not narrow down the significant gaps on core issues during the past six months.

After the deal between Iran and the P5+1 group on November 24 last year, both sides have held several rounds of talks to work out a final agreement aimed at ending the long-standing dispute over Tehran's nuclear program.
