MOSCOW, Nov. 15 (Xinhua) -- A four-year-old girl has survived a plane crash in Russia's Far East, which killed six people on board, Khabarovsk Territory authorities said Wednesday.
The aircraft with five passengers and two crew members crashed near a remote village of Nelkan in the Far East after taking off from the city of Khabarovsk earlier in the day.
The girl, who was found alive at the crash site, was taken to hospital to be treated for a broken leg and brain concussion.
A special commission from Moscow is expected to arrive at the crash site on Thursday to investigate the cause of the accident.
