VLADIVOSTOK, Russia, Jan. 18 (Xinhua) -- Two Su-34 jets accidentally collided in Russia's Far East region while performing training flights on Friday, the Russian Defense Ministry confirmed in a statement.
According to the statement, the crews have managed to eject safely. An An-12 and two Mi-8 helicopters from the search and rescue forces are searching for the pilots in the area where they ejected.
The planes performed the flights without ammunition, added the statement.
