The press conference and registration launching ceremony of the Changsha International Marathon 2019 were held at the Helong Sports Center, Changsha on July 25. The marathon is hosted by the Chinese Athletics Association, Hunan Sports Bureau, and the Changsha Municipal People’s Government.

This year’s race will begin at 7:30 on October 27. A team race (100 teams) will be added for the first time. Runners who have participated in any three editions of the 2015-2018 races will get direct invitations to the race and those who joined the event for four consecutive years can choose their own race number.

The registration process starts at 10:00, July 26. Runners can register through the official website of the Changsha International Marathon (http://www.changsha-marathon.com).

So far, the annual Changsha International Marathon has been held four times since 2015. It became an IAAF bronze label road race in June 2019. It is the most influential international sports event in Changsha. (en.chagnsha.gov.cn)
