NBA stars send prayers to Wuhan and China amid coronavirus battle

The official Weibo account of the NBA (National Basketball Association) launched a video on Feb. 13 of several active and retired NBA players sending their prayers and thoughts to Wuhan and China in the battle against the COVID-19 epidemic.

“We are thinking about the doctors and the medical staff that are taking care of the situation, and hope you guys pull through, stay strong and get better,” said Golden Warrior’s guard Stephen Curry.

Stephen’s teammate Klay Thompson also expressed his thoughts and feelings for the Chinese people in Chinese, “Come on Wuhan, come on China!”

NBA legend David Robinson also sent his love in Chinese, cheering on Wuhan.

Many active and former NBA players participated in this video, including NBA Hall-of-Famer Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, legend Scottie Pippen, Brooklyn Nets superstar Kyrie Irving and emerging young talent Luka Dončić from Dallas Mavericks.
