Int'l Experience vs. Chinese Characteristics
"What you do not want done to yourself, do not do to others" or ji su bu yu wu si yu ren, is what Confucius said in Lun Yu and is an age-old Chinese virtue. Though the Golden Rule of the West "Do to others what you would have others do to you", sounds similar, the Rule has oftentimes been misused to justify the wrong notion "Do to others what you want done to others".
