Dear comrades,

Nortel is a firm which has great assets in fiber optics. It has a wide network of installed cables. But its own domestic market is too small for a stable development. In fact, any development would have to come from external markets such as the Chinese market. This is the kind of firm which the Chinese government should buy quickly. Its importance for the telecommunication sectors as well as the development of the new intermediary sectors is obvious.
