Why do they all choose to invest in New Zealand? A Yashili official said, besides the implementation of zero tariff policy for infant milk powder from New Zealand, New Zealand, famous for agriculture and animal husbandry, is highly complementary in resources with China.

New Zealand exports of milk powder to China will achieve zero tariffs by 2019. In addition, it is estimated there is an increase of 3 percent of New Zealand milk powder exports to China per year, and at the same time, China's raw milk production will therefore decrease 0.5 percent per year.

It is worth noting that there are many other Chinese capitals eyeing New Zealand dairy industry. In November 2012, Shanghai Pengxin Group Co., Ltd. in real estate industry completed the acquisition of 16 farms in New Zealand and won the country's milk source.
