Affirmatives of "coordinated and highly efficient" in Chinese military's operation

The U.S. New York Times reported that China has shown more experienced performance in handling the earthquake disaster once again in the close area to the Wenchuan earthquake which happened five years ago.

The Hong Kong-based Wen Wei Po published an article stating that the Central Military Commission (CMC) has made a comprehensive deployment for the Chinese military's rescue work and relevant units have promptly activated the emergency pre-plan for earthquake relief so that the rescue activities in the disaster area have demonstrated a complete rescue system.

The Hong Kong-based South China Morning Post (SCMP) also reported that the PLA has demonstrated its rapid response capability in the Lushan earthquake. The rescue personnel include the PLA servicemen, the APF soldiers and the relevant state departments. The military was better prepared than that in 2008.

The Yonhap News Agency and other media reported that so far, there has been manpower of 17,000 people, including those from the military, carrying out the 24-hour non-stop search and rescue work.

The comments held that the rescue operation carried out by the officers and men from the Chengdu Military Area Command (MAC) of the PLA, the PLA Navy, the PLA Air Force, and the APF is much faster and efficient than before.
