S. Korea Discusses Countermeasures About Inter-Korean Naval Clash

The National Security Council (NSC) of South Korea hold an emergency meeting Saturday afternoon to discuss how to deal with a 25-minute battle between navy vessels of South Korea and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) in the Yellow Sea in the morning, the Yonhap News reported.

The National Security Council (NSC) of South Korea hold an emergency meeting Saturday afternoon to discuss how to deal with a 25-minute battle between navy vessels of South Korea and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) in the Yellow Sea in the morning, the Yonhap News reported.

The battle left four South Korean navy soldiers dead and 18 injured, one missing, with one speed boat sunk.

The meeting will discuss countermeasures based on the result of the report from the navy.

The measures will be announced by related ministers later.
