Chinese Strongwomen Breaks Weightlifting World Records

The Chinese strongwomen has kept to make the feat by surpassing a series of world records in the on-going national weightlifting championshipson Thursday.

The Chinese strongwomen has kept to make the feat by surpassing a series of world records in the on-going national weightlifting championshipson Thursday.

In the women's 63kg class, Ouyang Xiaofang lifted up 117.5 kgs in snatch to beat the previous world mark of 112.5 kgs, and took the top honor with a two-lift total of 252.5 kgs.

On Wednesday, Wang Li snatched up 112.5 kgs to beat the old mark of 106 kgs and won the 58kg class title with a total of 240 kgs, which also eclipsed the world mark of 237.5 kgs.

In the opening day competitions on Tuesday, Li Zhuo also broke the world marks to win the women's 48kg class national title.
