Graf and Edberg elected to Tennis Hall of Fame |
Germany's Steffi Graf and Sweden's Stefan Edberg, both former world number ones, were elected to the International Tennis Hall of Fame on Thursday.

Germany's Steffi Graf and Sweden's Stefan Edberg, both former world number ones, were elected to the International Tennis Hall of Fame on Thursday.
Graf, who retired in 1999, dominated women's tennis through much of the 1980s and 90s claiming 107 singles titles, including 22 in Grand Slam events.
She spent 331 weeks ranked world number one, including a record189 in a row. The German claimed four Grand Slam titles in 1988 and the Olympic gold.
Edberg won 41 singles titles, including six in Grand Slam tournaments and led Sweden to four Davis Cup champions.
This is the 50th anniversary of the hall, which has honored 186people from 18 countries and regions.
