With the arrival of International Museum Day, at least 50 museums in the capital have special offerings to lure even more people.

The Palace Museum is hosting two major exhibitions as we speak. One presents invaluable cultural relics from the Indian royal palaces, while another showcases colorful 18th century Chinese porcelain. Some museums in Beijing are now under renovation, but they’ve found other ways to exhibit their works.

The Military Museum, for example, has launched an online exhibition at its official website, for viewers to visit anytime they want. For those who want to experience history and culture through artifacts, this is the ideal time to visit Beijing.
