BEIJING, March 4 -- Wang Qishan, head of the Communist Party of China's disciplinary organ, on Tuesday called for stepped-up efforts to crack down corruption.

Political advisors must fully play their role in democratic supervision, so as to contribute to the country's anti-corruption campaign, Wang said while participating in a panel discussion with members of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.
