China’s second kiloton marine surveillance vessel - Haixun 8002 - is put into use. It will take the daily patrol work in the East China Sea.
To meet the various needs of the marine rights enforcement, the vessel is equipped with advanced marine law enforcement equipment, including two high-speed law enforcement boats capable to withstand 7-grade wind, wireless image receiving system, and Beidou navigation system. It also has two high-pressure water cannons system with a range beyond 100 meters.
In addition, strong acoustic equipment is also introduced, which can launch acoustic wave up to 152 dB by remote control.

With two engines and two propellers, its cruising range is 5,000 nautical miles with maximum speed of 20 knots.
