11th Chinese peacekeeping medical team to South Sudan established

JINAN, July 15 (ChinaMil) -- The establishment and oath-taking rally of the 11th Chinese peacekeeping medical team to South Sudan was held at a joint logistics sub-department under the Jinan Military Area Command (MAC) of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) on the morning of July 12, 2013.

According to the briefing made by Wang Cunbao, political commissar of the medical team, this peacekeeping medical team is made up of 63 officers and men from this sub-department. A majority of the team members have the experience of participating in peacekeeping missions and implementing key tasks. The medical team will fly in two batches to the mission area of Wau in South Sudan in mid- and late-July respectively.
