Xicheng district police have detained 16 people suspected of stealing belongings exclusively from Audi A6 cars, the Legal Mirror reported Tuesday.

Since July, many Audi A6 owners had reported the thefts, but no damage to the vehicles.

The police arrested 14 suspects in September and two others on November 2. The suspects admitted that they had bought specialised equipment online to unlock the cars.
