BEIJING, March 18 (Xinhua) -- U.S. Treasury Secretary Jacob Lew will pay a visit to China on March 19-20, as the special representative of U.S. President Barack Obama.
"China welcomes Lew's visit", said the Ministry of Finance in a press release on Monday.

Lew, the former White House Chief of Staff, was selected by Obama succeeding Timothy Geithner, and his nomination was confirmed by U.S. Senate last month.
