Chinese VP meets Turkish guests, media delegation

BEIJING, May 23 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Vice President Li Yuanchao on Thursday met with a delegation of Turkish young politicians and cadres.

He also separately met with a delegation of foreign political party media.

Li said during the meeting with the Turkish delegation that China and Turkey have enjoyed comprehensive development of cooperation in all fields. He said major parties in Turkey agreed on a policy of developing relations with China.

The two countries' parties need to enhance communication and learn from each other to promote a China-Turkey strategic and cooperative partnership, Li said.

The Turkish side said they are willing to promote bilateral relations in a sustainable and healthy way.

During the meeting with the delegation of foreign political party media, Li said he hoped they would introduce to the world a real China, a true Communist Party of China as well as a real Chinese dream and help people all over the world to further understand the country's development path.

The delegation said they were impressed by the friendliness of the Chinese people and had confidence in them achieving the Chinese dream.
