Photo: '99 Beijing International Tourism Festival Opens

Performers of China's minority ethnic groups dance traditional dances on Ping'an Street in downtown Beijing to celebrate the opening of '99 Beijing International Tourism Festival. As the festival opened on September 5, more than 50 art troupes from home and abroad began their singing and dancing performances on Ping'an Street, that evoked prolonged applause from spectators on both sides of the street.
