Chinese President Attends Chinese Song Performance ����President Jiang Zemin enjoyed some Chinese songs from the past half century on the evening of October 7 with several thousand people at the Beijing Concert Hall. ����Also present for the concert were Vice-president Hu Jintao, Vice-premier Li Lanqing, and other state and Party leaders. ����Over the past 50 years, since the founding of the People's Republic of China, many outstanding songs have become popular.
