52 companies among the world’s top 500 have set up headquarters in Beijing, making it the city with the most headquarters, according to Forbes.

Concentration of headquarters has become an important contributor to Beijing’s economic development, providing 25 percent of job opportunities and contributing 60 percent of the city’s revenues and taxes.
