PD online forms strategic cooperation with 18 universities

BEIJING, August 25 (People’s Daily Online)--The first University Presidents Forum was hosted by People's Daily online on August 25, 2014. Presidents and Party chief from 18 universities expressed their opinions on the issues including reform of university enrollment system and innovative development.

People's Daily online also signed a "strategic partnership" agreement with each of the 18 universities, including Renmin University, Beijing Normal University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and Central South University.

Education is the issue that people are most concerned about; it is also the most realistic livelihood issue of people. People's Daily online will take advantage of network media to contribute to education reform together with the universities , said Ma Li, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of People's Daily.
