KINSHASA, Aug. 29 -- A total of 13 Ebola cases have been confirmed in the Democratic Republic of Congo, the country's Minister of Public Health Felix Kabange told Xinhua Friday.

The epidemic, which has been plaguing west African countries since earlier this year, has killed two people in the central African country's northern region.
