BEIJING, March 6  -- Following are the schedules for the third sessions of the 12th National People's Congress (NPC) and the 12th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) on Saturday.

NPC:

-- NPC deputies will hold panel discussions about the national economic and social development plan and central and local budgets.

-- At 10 a.m., Minister of Commerce Gao Hucheng will give a press conference at the press center of the two sessions.

-- At 2 p.m., five female NPC deputies will give a press conference at the press center of the two sessions on gender equality.

-- At 3:30 p.m., Minister of Environmental Protection Chen Jining will give a press conference at the press center of the two sessions on gender equality.

CPPCC:

-- Members of the 12th CPPCC National Committee will hold panel discussions on the government work report, the national economic and social development plan and central and local budgets.
