"The Chinese dream aims to realize national prosperity and rejuvenation and people's happiness. It is a dream of peace, development, cooperation and mutual benefit. Chinese dream echoes the beautiful dreams of other nations including the American dream," Chinese President Xi Jinping said two years ago when visiting the US.

Now, the deepening cooperation between the two countries in economy and trade, science and technology, culture and education is connecting the dreams of the two countries and the two peoples.

Trade and economic relations between the two countries always serve as the cornerstone and accelerator of Sino-US relationship. As world's biggest economies, China and the US contributed over 40 percent of the world economic growth in 2014. According to a research of the U.S.-China Business Council, cheap and high-quality products imported from China to the US equals to an extra 1,000 USD disposable income to each American family annually. Chinese enterprises' direct investment to the US has seen a rapid growth in recent years, which has created over 80,000 jobs in the US. A survey recently conducted by the American Chamber of Commerce in China among 500 member enterprises showed that over 60 percent of the American enterprises see China as one of their three key investment destinations.

Scientific and technological cooperation between the two countries has attracted much attention. In recent years, China and the US have launched many cooperation projects, such as clean cooking stoves and prevention and cure of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases. The two countries have reached an agreement on jointly researching on smart cities and urban intelligent infrastructures.

Cultural and educational communication is another important pillar of the Sino-US relationship. Currently, the cultural and educational communication has entered an unprecedented development period. There is a flight taking off every 17 minutes between China and the US. In 2014, air travelers between the two countries reached 6.13 million person-times, in other words, 17,000 people fly between the two countries every day. 　　

Although frictions and differences sometimes occur in the cooperation between the two countries, it is undeniable that the width and depth of the cooperation in all fields have exceeded any time in history. The healthy and stable developments of Sino-US relationship will continue to push forward the realization of the Chinese dream, American dream and dreams of all nations.
