It take courage to do a live-streaming show, but it takes more than courage to do a live-streaming show on top of a police car. After making a scene by stomping on and kicking a police car in Sichuan province, a teenager has been disciplined with a 10-day detention.
"These days, some people like to take photos with police cars, but not in a friendly way," the Public Security Bureau of Neijiang, Sichuan province wrote on its Sina Weibo on Dec. 8, posting several photos of the incident.
Local police said they have received several reports of such live-streaming activities, the Chengdu Business Herald reported. One of the "performers," a 16-year-old teenager surnamed Lei, was apprehended on Nov. 12 in Neijiang's Weiyuan County after doing a live-streaming show on top of a police car, which was actually parked outside a police station. Lei admitted to his deeds, saying it was purely for the excitement.
Investigations into three more similar cases are underway.
It is against the law to deliberately stomp on a police car, and violators can be held criminally accountable if a police car is badly damaged, according to the Chengdu Business Herald.
