(People's Daily Online)    13:34, July 02, 2018

On the morning of July 1, Hu Henghua, CPC Hunan Provincial Standing Committee member and CPC Changsha Municipal Committee Secretary, led some Party members and cadres from the CPC Changsha Municipal Committee Office and Yuelu District to take Party admission oath again in front of the Young Mao Zedong Statue on Juzizhou (Orange Isle). They took the opportunity to reminisce revolutionary martyrs and wish the prosperity of the Party and the country.

The Young Mao Zedong Statue Exhibition Hall on Juzizhou (Orange Isle) started trail operation on July 1. Covering an area of 2,200 square meters, the exhibition hall was built within three years. It features young Mao Zedong’s years in Changsha via exhibition, artwork models, relief wall, oil painting, statues, and modern technologies.

The exhibition is divided into four parts: A Dream of Youth; Years of Endeavor; A Married Couple very much in Love; and Revolutionary Course in Changsha.

The four parts mainly demonstrate Mao’s school life in Changsha after departing from Shaoshan, his arduous exploration of reforming China and the world, his love stories with Yang Kaihui, and his revolutionary career.
