Photo taken on Nov. 21, 2012 shows the outer walls of a walled village in Yangcun Village of Longnan County in Ganzhou City, east China's Jiangxi Province. This four-floor clay building has a history of over 320 years with a maximum capacity of 136 families. The Gannan (southern Jiangxi Province) Hakka walled villages, a special architectural type, was included into China's World Cultural Heritage Tentative List on Nov. 17, 2012. The whole structure of the building resembles a small fortified city, containing halls, storehouses and living areas. It is regarded as the "cradle of Hakka". According to official statistics, there are over 600 such buildings in Gannan at present. (Xinhua/Song Zhenping)
