Over half a century, Klaw amassed millions of photos and negatives from movie studios, and now that collection is up for grabs.

Arlan Ettinger, auctioneer of Guernsey's Auction House, said "There will be many, many images of people including Marilyn Monroe, James Dean, Elizabeth Taylor, Clark Gable, Greta Garbo, you name it, that have never been seen before."

Later, Klaw became known for creating the pin-up girl. The genre’s most popular figure was Bettie Page.

Arlan said, "Irving Klaw happened across a very young innocent woman, very handsome, pretty, named Bettie Page. And Bettie Page became what many people think of as the queen of the pin-ups. The most single iconic figure to emerge from the pin-up era."
