The semiconductor lighting Research & Development & Production Base Project jointly constructed by GE (a Fortune Global 500 company) and Shaanxi Electronic Information Group, Shaanxi Photovoltaic Solar Industry Base Project, Dongguan King Sun Photoelectric Co., Ltd.'s Western Regional R&D Engineering Center and LED Product Manufacturing Center Project (the biggest LED illumination producer in China), and FiberHome Photovoltaic 500MW Solar Silicon Wafer Cutting Production Line Project. Currently, the whole zone includes more than 80 enterprises including Applied Materials Inc., Walsin Lihwa, Huajing Electronics, and Crystal Growing Technology. A relatively complete solar photovoltaic industrial chain and semiconductor lighting industrial chain have taken shape initially. Up to 2015, the operation revenue of the solar photovoltaic industry in the zone will be RMB100 billion, while more than 3 leading enterprises with industrial influence will be cultivated; the operation revenue of the semiconductor lighting industry will be RMB15 billion, and 5 to 10 leading enterprises with core technology and output beyond RMB1 billion will be cultivated.
