Shaanxi History Museum

The museum is located at No. 91 of the Xiaozhai East Road, Xi’an. It officially opened to the public on June 20 of 1991 and is a Tang Dynasty style architectural complex which is solemn and splendid. It is also a perfect combination of ancient style architecture and modern technologies. The museum keeps more than 370,000 pieces of rare cultural relics unearthed in Shaanxi, including 20 Tang Dynasty tombs of frescoes. The total area of the frescoes is about 1,000 square meters, ranking first in all museums of China.
