Texas fertilizer plant explosion caused by ammonium nitrate

HOUSTON, May 7 (Xinhua) -- The recent massive explosion at a fertilizer plant in the U.S. state of Texas was caused by ammonium nitrate, local authorities were quoted as saying Tuesday.
