Italian pianist set for Beijing concert

Italian pianist and composer Ludovico Einaudi's CD In a Time Lapse, a best-seller on amazon.uk, has been released in China by Universal music.

To promote his CD, Einaudi will hold a concert at the Forbidden City Concert Hall in Beijing on June 6.

Einaudi started his career in the early 1980s as a classical composer and soon began incorporating other styles and genres, including pop, rock, world music, and folk music.
