Bark paintings created at Gansu Provincial Art Museum

Photo taken on June 19, 2013 shows a bark painting created by folk artist Su Yongsheng during a fine folk art exhibition at the Gansu Provincial Art Museum in Lanzhou, capital of northwest China's Gansu Province. Bark painting uses tree barks and branches as raw materials and takes advantage of the their natural colors and shapes. Su Yongsheng draws inspiration from several art forms such as paper-cutting and sculpture. (Xinhua/Liang Qiang)
