Super girls to stage their respective concerts

23-year old Yico Tseng, a singer who caused controversy in 2009 Super Girl Contest, recently announced her second solo concert, which is to be held in the middle of next month in Beijing.

Yico Tseng told a recent press conference that her new concert will impress audience members with two totally different performance styles.

"Two bands featuring different styles will join my show, enabling me to perform both rock and roll and light popular music. Actually, the theme of my solo show on August 16 is Separation."

Yico Tseng's solo concert is part of 2013 Veelive series of concerts which also include artists who became famous after joining Super Girl Contests. The organizers explained that their Veelive series of concerts will put more emphasis on the interactive activities between super girls and their fans.

Yico Tseng attracted controversy when participating in the Super Girl competition, when a Taiwan-based judge Bao Xiaobo declared that as long as she stayed in the Final 20, he would leave, before resigning as judge and walking off the stage.

The incident become a hot discussion topic on BBS among many Chinese viewers of the show.
