China's first NBC maritime emergency rescue team conducts training

China's first maritime NBC (nuclear, biological and chemical) emergency rescue team under a submarine base of the North Sea Fleet of the Navy of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) conducted training in a sea area. The training subjects included real-time monitoring, sample collection and analysis and contaminated areas delineation.

The training verified the maximum performance of the new equipment under the actual-combat conditions and significantly improved troops' emergency rescue capabilities.
