Commander of 15th Chinese naval escort taskforce meets with chief of Djibouti Navy

DJIBOUTI PORT, October 11 (ChinaMil) -- Abdourahman Aden Cher, chief of the Djibouti Navy, boarded the amphibious dock landing ship "Jinggangshan" of the 15th escort taskforce under the Navy of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLAN) which berthed at the Djibouti Port for rest and replenishment, and met with Jiang Zhonghua, commander of the taskforce, on the morning of October 9, 2013, local time.

Cher extended his welcome to the 15th Chinese naval escort taskforce for berthing at the Djibouti Port for rest and replenishment, expressed his willingness to assist the taskforce to the best of his ability, and showed his appreciation to the taskforce for its important role in maintaining peace and tranquility of the waters of the Gulf of Aden.

Jiang Zhonghua expressed his gratitude to the Djibouti Navy for its assistance and support for the taskforce during the in-port rest and replenishment.
