First alpine rail gets midnight maintenance

The Harbin-Dalian high-speed rail starts north from Harbin city, Heilongjiang province, through three northeastern provinces stretching for 921 kilometers to Dalian city, Liaoning province. The railway, the first high-speed rail crossing an alpine region is in trial operation and predicted to open at the end of 2012.
