Cross-Strait passenger liner Jiayuan conducts first trial voyage

The passenger liner named Jiayuan conducted its first trial voyage between Pingtan and Taipei on Friday. Another passenger liner across the Taiwan Strait linking the city of Taichung in Taiwan and Pingtan in the mainland was put into service one year ago. The passenger liner named Haixia has carried more than 100,000 people since it began operation on Nov. 30 last year. (Xinhua/Lin Shanchuan)
