Chinese Antique Furniture, Curios & Art Works Fair '99 will be held from December 2 to December 5 at the Shanghai Mart.

It is the first fair in China mainly for Chinese antique furniture. The four-day and two-night fair will feature various antique furniture of Ming (1358-1644) and Qing (1644-1911) dynasties. Various bronze, jade, seal, porcelain, painting, coin, calligraphy, jewelry, bamboo, wood and ivory as well as ancient books, pictures and photos will also be exhibited. The organizers including Shanghai Culture Development Foundation and Shanghai World Trade City Co. Ltd., will also invite experts to appraise items and present seminars every day, an exciting onsite auction will also be arranged.
