Liu Yu'en (CNS/Fan Yuqin)

Japanese invaders attacked Liu Yu'en's village when she was 14. Influenced by her father, an ordinary farmer who joined the Eighth Route Army, Liu became a party member at 17. Liu organised military trainings and spread the idea of fighting against invaders. She had spent a whole night to make shoes for soldiers at the front lines.
