During this year's Spring Festival,Hongjiang Ancient Commercial Town in central China's Hunan Province will host 10 folk and cultural events to celebrate the Lunar New Year. The ancient town is now recruiting five women to play theroles of goddesses of wealth from five directions in the Spring Festival parade.

The Hongjiang Ancient Commercial Town is a characteristic scenic spot in Hunan. The town boasts more than 380 intact ancient structures erected during the Ming and Qing Dynasties, covering an area of 100,000 square meters. The buildingsendured the ages with some wear, but they remain vivid reminders of the luxurious lifestyle of wealthy merchants.
