Jiuzhaigou Valley: China's fairyland

Scenic Jiuzhaigou, tucked away in the depth of the mountains in northern Sichuan Province is indeed one of nature's most extravagant splendors anywhere in the world and is the crowning glory of the province. With many lakes, waterfalls and a rich variety of endangered plants and species of animals, it was recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1992. (Source: China.org.cn)
