Liu Bao tea is a premium dark tea originating in Liubao village, Wuzhou city, southwest China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. In ancient times, Liu Bao tea was transported by rafts and wooden boats to Guangzhou city, south China’s commercial hub, and then shipped to other cities in Guangdong province, Hong Kong, Macao, Southeast Asia and even Europe along the Ancient Maritime Silk Road.

Today, Liu Bao tea, as one of the most famous teas in China, is still popular for its distinct aroma and health benefits.
