Expand aggregation effect of Samsung to achieve industrial breakthroughs

Since the commencement on September 12, 2012, Samsung Electronics Memory Chip Project has been in full swing for construction with the strong support from the provincial and municipal governments. So far, the project has been successfully introduced 15 supporting enterprises around Samsung, among which nine have completed the registration and have been under construction, and six are to be registered. The Samsung Data Research and Development Center Project and Samsung Electronics Research and Development Center Project have also been settled in the zone on 26 July.

During the construction of Samsung projects, the leaders of the High-tech Zone hold conferences every week to listen to the briefings about the work progress from concerned parties, study and solve specific problems. Besides, the leaders also provide active services, and the middle-level cadres from various departments take shifts on site by adhering to the leadership of the committee. Meanwhile, they take effective measures to create a relatively independent, closed construction environment for the projects, so as to ensure the smooth operation. To that end, Chang'an District Government together with the High-tech Zone, carefully organizes the training program for farmers in the construction areas of Samsung demolition projects in an effort to improve farmers' employment and entrepreneurial abilities and make them benefit from the projects.

Principal leaders of the High-tech Zone stressed that Xi'an High-tech Zone should maximize the Samsung aggregation effect, and actively promote related cooperation between Samsung and local businesses, accelerate the plan of whole industrial chain projects and build new industrial clusters around Samsung. As the project is an important carrier of the economic and social development, the development of projects means to attract investment, which also means to promote economic increase and progress. To promote more projects, expand investment, achieve structural adjustment, strengthen the industry driven by large projects, more efforts should be made to maintain the fast growth and attain the targets. What's more, more importance should be attached to accelerating the implementation of BYD electric car project, promoting the demonstration base construction of the smart phone manufacturing industry chain, and planning semiconductor industry chain projects, so as to achieve new breakthroughs in industrial economy in the High-tech Zone.
