Dollar trades at mid-90 yen level in early Tokyo deals

TOKYO, Jan. 25 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar traded in the mid- 90 yen range early Friday in Tokyo.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 90.53-58 yen compared with 90.27-37 yen in New York and 89.27-28 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Thursday. The U.S. currency briefly rose to as high as 90.56 in New York.

The euro fetched 1.3368-3370 dollar and 121.01-03 yen against 1. 3372-3382 dollar and 120.79-89 yen in New York and 1.3304-3305 dollar and 118.77-81 yen in Tokyo late Thursday afternoon.
